Château de Pierry
Why
take advantage (of it)...!
Built in around 1734 by Monseigneur Claude-Antoine de Choiseul-Beaupré, Bishop and Count of Châlons and Peer of France, the history of this wine estate is linked to the birth of Champagne.
Visitors have access to the entire property: the reception rooms in the main body of the chateau, the large landscaped garden, the outbuildings, the gallery of kings of France and dynasties of Champagne, the champagne storehouse and the museum-press house with its cellar dating back to the monks’ era.
Guided tasting of the estate’s champagnes and introduction to sabrage (opening a bottle of champagne with a sabre).
