A Henry IV-style castle, in the 18th century Réveillon was inhabited by the Minister of Foreign Affairs during the reign of Louis XV and by the King’s architect. They transformed the castle and decorated it with paintings and sculptures. It became the cradle of the works of Marcel Proust, who was the guest of Madeleine Lemaire, the mistress of the house at the end of the 19th century. A tour of the ground floor, the outbuildings including its dovecote which is a listed building and the gardens.
