This linden is localised to Mont de Fourche, a vantage point at an altitude of 208 metres, the highest point of the hill overlooking the Saulx; this means that on a clear day you can see as far as 30 kilometres away.
It is popular with the pilgrims who are doing the Camino de Santiago which runs by it; there has even been a bench put in its shade.
