Village in bloom 1 flower
One street and a church is all that appears of this village nestling on a hill. The view is magnificent and can carry as far as Troyes. When Napoleon I climbed to the top of the belfry, his thoughts were not those of an admiring walker, but those of the warlord surveying his troops.
Don't miss a visit to the superb church begun in the 12th century and now a listed historical monument. At its feet what surprises the visitor is the abundance of water that can be heard babbling in the fountains and washhouses and lapping on the banks of the lily pond. This is no doubt the reason for the box trees that grow naturally here and also two fig trees. Walkers will have a wonderful time on the official hiking trail through the vines and the forest as well as around the lakes. Contact: Town Hall ? Tel. +33(0)3 26 81 61 24
