Balade au XVIII°siècle à Pierry
Pourquoi y aller ?
Setting out from the town hall (mairie), follow the themed circular trail around the village and its hillside. The waymarked route will enable you to discover its architectural treasures, its natural heritage and the history of two illustrious inhabitants.
Pierry has the richest collection of 18th-century houses in the Pays d’Epernay. This historic village contributed to the development of the noble wine that is champagne. It is classed a Premier Cru. Its vineyards and ornamental gardens, through which the meandering Cubry flows, make it a green winegrowing village, the gateway to the Coteaux Sud d’Epernay.
