Why
take advantage (of it)...!
The local economy, which for a long time was dominated by the Lelarge mill, installed in the former Abbey castle, is now focussed on manufacturing safes and processing agricultural produce (sugar refinery, drying alfalfa, processing grain and chicory) and eventually the production of ethanol. Almost square in shape, the old village centre stretches along the right bank of the Suippe and includes the listed church (11th and 12th centuries) and a delightful shaded place that is perfect for daydreaming by the 'Rocher de la Vierge' on the banks of a stream.
