Why
take advantage (of it)...!
Set between the Ardre and the Vesle, the little town where Albert Uderzo was born has suffered much throughout its history, beginning with enemy tribes of Gauls. Just like its memorial bridge. Destroyed in 1914, it was rebuilt by soldiers from the town of Meadville in Pennsylvania; bombed again in the Second World War, it was again rebuilt with American funds. With green tourism, so common in this very welcoming region, Fismes offers a perfect balance between city life and nature.
