Haussimont is a rural village located in the heart of the Champagne crayeuse.
Everyone enthusiastically takes part in the planting of flowers both in their houses and in the village.
The originality of this village lies in the organisation of the houses: none of them face the street. The farms stood very close to each other, and the inner courtyard enclosed the animals, leaving almost no opening on to public areas. To change this situation, due to old farming practices, the inhabitants have decided to open their courtyards and plant flowers in the village.
Today everything has changed: parks have opened up and thousands of flowers are a delight to walkers.
For over 20 years now, Haussimont has won many "In Bloom" prizes!
