This museum has been set up in traditional buildings in the heart of a wine-producing village, situated between Epernay and Dormans which has kept all of its cachet. Follow the guide for 90 minutes through three themed areas: the typical Champagne region style house – a 17thcentury building with furniture and everyday objects of the period, the 1900-style school – with a former village class frozen in time (wooden desks, inkwells, smocks, etc.) and the distillery – the former public distillation workshop with machines from the beginning of the century and the reconstruction of a cooperage.
