Exposition : "Ville Sacrée" de LGM-1
Why go there?
Architecture is at the heart of our lives, unchanging, silent at first sight. It shelters our lives, our moments, our emotions.
It guides us in our choices, our desires, in an imperceptible and unconscious way. Why do you like this building? Why do you prefer this place rather than another? What does it create in you? Is it the light? Is it the space, the beauty, the colors, the volumes or the life it allows?
A city would be nothing without us and we live through it. This exhibition tries to express these feelings through Reims, a sacred city.
LGM-1; Little Green Men-1: "...code name given to the first identified signal of a pulsar whose extreme regularity evoked a possible signal of extraterrestrial nature...".
Architect in France and abroad, the activity of illustration has always been an enthusiastic complementary activity which revealed itself more during a year spent in Cambodia.
Living in Reims today, Julien Maillot alias LGM1 proposes to capture the atmosphere and emotions that the buildings that make up the city and our daily lives create in us and to freeze an interpretation of them.
Closed on weekends.
