The village uses its rustic setting between the valleys of the Ardre and the Vesle to improve the living environment of its inhabitants. A long-term policy which has come to fruition with a majority of Vandoliens joining the landscape improvement programme. Vandeuil also initiated the creation of a fully marked out bridle path and hiking trail, 'Les boucles du Mont Grenet', which crosses five villages in bloom. This circuit is part of the 180 kilometres of paths around the Ardre, the Vesle and the Saint Thierry massif.
