The village has become a strong symbol of agriculture in the future with its research laboratory, and since it welcomed in September 1999 "Terre attitude", an international event, and the French President. Even the past is present. The church is modern and sturdy, because the previous 11th century church was pulverised in the German retreat in 1918.
