The Jardin d'Horticulture d'Épernay (Horticulture Garden) was designed by the landscape architect from Reims J.B. Thomereau in 1910. An English-style landscaped park featuring winding pathways, yew trees, mimicking nature with rock gardens, basins and picturesque streams.
It is during this period that the Fau de Verzy, originating in the forest of Verzy, was planted in the garden.
