Le Grand Jard

« Les Jards » (the Gardens) of Châlons-en-Champagne offer visitors 11 hectares of greenery right in the heart of the city, from « le Petit Jard » (the small garden) where the statues representing the four seasons overlook the arboretum and clumps of hardy perennials, to « le Grand Jard » (the big garden) of which the calm paths merge towards the bandstand, going through « le Jard Anglais » (the English
garden) of which the wooden footbridge and the pond are dedicated to romanticism. They are closely linked to the waterways which run
alongside or pass through them and provide an exceptional view of Saint-Etienne’s Cathedral.
