On the outer edge of the Traconne forest is the village, whose main activity is to be found on the south Marne hillsides. Stand at one of the many places opening on to the horizon and you will enjoy superb views over the vineyards and the Seine valley. The church, dedicated to Saint Serein, the patron saint of livestock, has large proportions and every June hosts a classical music festival. Some elements typical of rural villages are worth noting, including wells, troughs and a fountain.
